The TA-100
NEW FOR 2025!
Our new 'TA-100' race rolls out at our 2025 event. This distance has gained international prominenace over recent years and see's competitors cover 100km over the swim, bike and run course.
2,000m Swim
The 2,000m swim takes place in the River Barrow at Athy. The course involves a 1,000m upstream and 1,000m downstream section which just a single U-turn at the 1,000m mark.
80km Cycle
The 80km cycle is on closed roads to the south of Athy town and invovles 2 x 40km loops.
18km Run
The 18km Run Course involves 4 laps of a circuit to the south of Athy on defined pathways. This circuit follows the beautiful River Barrow towpath, crossing the River itself before finishing at the Athy Library.
