What Legal Notices have been published to grant a Temporary Road Closure for the TriAthy event?

FOR this year’s TriAthy 2026 (The XVIII Edition)

Notices will shortly be placed in the local press outlining a Notice of Intention to temporarily close the roads required to undertake the TriAthy event as set out in the Road Traffic Act, 1993.

FOR TriAthy 2025 (The XVII Edition):

• A Notice of Decision to temporarily close roads for the TriAthy 2025 event was published in the Kildare Nationalist on Tuesday 20th May 2025.

• Taken together with the Notice of Intention published on Tuesday 6th May 2025, the formal requirements have been met to temporarily close the roads as set out in the Road Traffic Act, 1993.
• A Notice of Intention to temporarily close roads for the TriAthy 2025 event was published in the Kildare Nationalist on Tuesday 6th May 2025.

FOR TRIATHY 2024 (The XVI Edition):

• A Notice Of Decision to temporarily close roads for the TriAthy 2024 event was published in the Kildare Nationalist on Tuesday 21st May 2024.
