TriAthy takes place in Athy, Co. Kildare – approximately 80km south-west of Dublin. Here’s how to get here and where to park.
By Car
Athy is well connected by road. From Dublin, take the M7 motorway towards Limerick, exit at Junction 15 (Monasterevin) and follow the R417 south to Athy. The journey takes approximately 1 hour from Dublin city centre. Signage for TriAthy will be in place on race day to guide you.
Parking
Due to the temporary road closures in place for the race, some roads in and around Athy will be closed to traffic during certain periods on race day. Designated parking areas will be signposted. We strongly recommend arriving early to secure parking before the road closures take effect.
Specific parking locations and road closure timings will be confirmed in the Athlete Guide (available on our website before race day) and in our Road Closure Information for Residents.
By Train
Athy has a train station served by Irish Rail on the Dublin–Waterford line. This is an excellent option if you want to avoid driving. Check irishrail.ie for timetables. The station is a short walk from the event venue.
For spectators subscribing to our real-time SMS or WhatsApp notifications, you will receive updates on road closure timings on race day. Sign up for notifications here.
