Who can enter which race
- TA-100 and OLYMPIC — you must be 18 or over on race day, Saturday 5 June 2027. If you turn 18 after race day you are welcome in the Sprint or TRY this year.
- SPRINT and TRY — you must be 16 or over on race day. If you reach 16 on or before race day you may enter; anyone aged 15 or under on race day cannot enter.
- There is no upper age limit for any race.
Under-18s
- If you are under 18 on race day you enter with a parent or guardian’s consent — their name and consent are captured on the entry form — and race on your own Triathlon Ireland Youth/Junior membership, shown at check-in.
- Under-18 entries never receive marketing emails; essential race information is part of your entry.
18- and 19-year-olds
- You enter as an adult — any race, no consent needed — and may race on a Triathlon Ireland Junior membership if you are still within its age band, or a One Day Membership. See What is a Race Licence?
Your age category for results is your age on 31 December 2027 — see How is my age category determined?
The entry form checks your date of birth against these limits automatically.
