Yes — you can change to a different TriAthy race, subject to availability. From 25 April 2026 the process runs entirely from triathy.ie. You no longer change race through Active Europe.
How it works:
- Open the Change Race Category form (button below).
- Confirm your identity — email and date of birth.
- Tell us which race you’d like to move to.
- We email you a personalised payment link within one business day with the exact total to pay.
- Once paid, your race category is updated and you receive confirmation.

About the cost:
- €5 admin fee on every change.
- Upgrading to a more expensive race: you also pay the price difference.
- Downgrading: the €5 still applies and the price difference is not refunded.
- We send you the exact total before you commit.

- If your target race is full, we’ll be in touch with alternatives.
- The change takes effect once payment is received.
