Yes — you can transfer your entry to someone else. From 25 April 2026 the process runs entirely from triathy.ie. You no longer transfer through Active Europe.
How it works:
- Open the Race Transfer Request form (button below).
- Confirm your identity using the email and date of birth you registered with.
- Enter the transferee’s details: name, email, date of birth, phone, nationality.
- Pay the €5 admin fee via Stripe — the link arrives in your confirmation email.
- The transferee receives an email inviting them to complete their own check-in.

Good to know:
- €5 flat — no Active Europe fee on top.
- Both parties get confirmation emails at every step.
- Anything paid for in your original entry — race fee, merchandise, t-shirt — stays attached and the transferee inherits it. Settlement of that value between you and the transferee is private to the two of you.
- Processed within 2 business days of payment + transferee details received.
