What time does the race start?

  • An indicative schedule will be posted during March 2019 on the website to give indicative race times for TriAthy 2019.
  • It is expected that all races will have started by midday with the majority of finishers completing the course by 14:40hrs.
  • A more detailed timetable will be posted within 10 days of the event to give a more detailed breakdown of race day.
  • Please also refer to the Race Information Handbook when it is published.

When do I rack my bike?

 
  • The transition area is a secure area, limited to entrants only.
  • You will be allowed access to your transition area for racking approx. 90 minutes before your race starts.
  • You must pass through a bike check station on your way into your transition area.
  • Your bike must be racked in time for your designated race briefing.
  • All information relating to race (and wave) starts will be emailed to you before the race in the Race Information Handbook.
  • It will also be available online at www.triathy.ie up to 10 days ahead of race day.

How do I know when to rack my bike in the transition zone?

 
  • You will be allowed access to your transition area for racking approx. 90 minutes before your race starts - the precise times will be outlined in the Race Information Handbook which will be distributed in the days before race day.
  • You must pass through a bike check station on your way into your transition area.
  • Your bike must be racked in advance of the mandatry race briefing.
  • All information relating to race (and wave) starts will be emailed to you before the race in the Race Information Handbook. It will also be available online ahead of race day.
